The cooperative aims to achieve, through mutual self-help among its members: a) the establishment of an irrigation distribution network; b) its maintenance; c) ensuring the necessary water quantity for irrigation of the areas managed by the members and its sensible distribution; d) representing the interests of the farmers towards the public authorities and third parties regarding their water supply. In doing so, it strives for rational solutions, if possible consensual and, if necessary, with third parties. It unites all properties owned or used by the members located within the irrigation perimeter. The irrigation perimeter is defined on the plan 1:5,000, dated November 20, 2016, drawn up by the engineering firm WATEC in Thun. The perimeter can be changed in accordance with the legal provisions. The existence of the cooperative is unlimited in time. Its dissolution requires the approval of the Office for Agriculture.
