The association aims to define and optionally certify new sustainability standards for the development, planning, construction and operation of hospitality units (such as hotels, resorts, long-stay, boarding housing, student housing, senior living, etc.). The association primarily aims to develop an integrated system from production and manufacturing to logistics, planning and construction for holistic solutions to operational management throughout the entire life cycle of the property through the use of suitable materials, innovative technologies, modern digitalization and consideration of sustainable energy and environmental solutions. The association represents these interests in cooperation with other associations and academic research institutions. The association pursues this goal (under point 3) through targeted public relations, studies and research, targeted promotion of new ideas and start-ups, basic work and interest representation at the political level. The association aims to provide companies with the basis for an EU taxonomy under ESG regulation. Making sustainable funding available to the real estate industry.
