The association aims to promote natural education and the encounter of young people in the sense of protecting and promoting the process of self-realization, taking into account the latest findings in developmental psychology and neuroscience. The human being with his strengths is at the center and experiences self-efficacy through respectful and appreciative interaction, based on the pedagogy of Rudolf Steiner and Maria Montessori, the sciences and findings of Jesper Juul, Gerhart Hüther and Manfred Spitzer. In accordance with the legislation in the canton of Schaffhausen, the educational goals and the fulfillment of compulsory education (Art. 2 of the School Act) are realized and fulfilled by 'BBSH'. Young people are introduced to a respectful and positive interaction with nature as a whole. Through an intensive and mindful examination of all aspects of our flora and fauna, awareness is promoted, as we ourselves are part of nature and it forms the indispensable basis of our lives. In practical projects (e.g. plant cultivation, handicrafts), the corresponding competencies for a life in harmony with natural resources are specifically built up. The acquired and acquired knowledge is also made available to visitors. For this purpose, the association can operate a school. This ensures that the teaching is conducted according to the LP21 and the timetable of the canton of Schaffhausen, and will introduce optimized and over-obligatory content. The BBSH association provides the necessary financial resources and buildings for this purpose. The teachers are expected to teach in this sense. The association is non-profit and does not pursue any commercial purposes. It is open to all population groups and is politically and denominationally neutral.
