The association pursues no economic or political, but exclusively and directly charitable and ecclesiastical purposes (cult purposes). The association aims to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, in particular through: Regular worship services; Proclamation of the Word of God in Bible study, pastoral care, evangelization, and literature; Counseling and assistance to its members for the development and maintenance of their relationship with God through prayer, the Word of God, and Christian music; Pastoral care of its members and friends; Promotion of Christian work in child and youth welfare; Public relations through literature, internet, press, and other communication media; Social effectiveness and mutual assistance in cases of special need, especially support for the needy, the poor, and the afflicted in the sense of charity; Sending and maintaining missionaries at home and abroad; Conducting seminars and other events with Christian content; Bible-based administration of baptism and communion as ordinances of Christ, as well as instruction in the Christian faith and active love. The basis of all thinking and action of the association is the Holy Scripture, the Bible. The association understands itself as belonging to the entire community of Jesus Christ. Its task is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, whom it recognizes as the Lord and Savior of the world. It leads its members to a life of following Jesus Christ.
