Bottle Back

1) Bottle Back is a non-profit association with the primary goal of creating a community to raise awareness and encourage consumers to develop a circular economy beyond economic appeal. 2) The second goal is to create a national glass circulation channel. The concept encompasses (in addition to paragraph 1) firstly the use of Bottle Back approved bottles, secondly the logistics of collecting these bottles, thirdly washing, and finally returning them to the producer(s). 3) The concept was founded, tested, and approved by winegrowers from the canton of Vaud. This approach is part of a more sustainable solution with a lower carbon footprint. The third goal is to complement traditional bottle recycling, which requires, among other things, a melting temperature and higher energy consumption.
