The foundation supports and finances children in need. This includes, in particular, educational and training measures for children in developing countries. The purpose includes both direct support for natural persons and support or financing of institutions, organizations, corporations, or establishments that take care of or support such persons. The foundation can maintain its own aid organization or support existing institutions that pursue a purpose corresponding to the one mentioned above. The support can also consist of the foundation acquiring land, building or purchasing buildings, or providing financial assistance for the construction or expansion of buildings that serve the purpose. The foundation has a non-profit character and does not pursue any commercial purposes. The foundation's profits and capital are exclusively dedicated to the aforementioned purpose. The foundation is active in Switzerland and abroad.
