The association is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to promote and create favorable conditions for economic exchanges between Switzerland and China, in particular by facilitating the development of commercial activities of Swiss and Chinese companies and strengthening exchanges with public services, chambers of commerce and Swiss companies. The association may engage in all activities in compliance with applicable legal provisions in order to achieve its purpose. In particular, the association may: establish working relationships with local administrations, professional associations and international organizations concerned in order to promote high-quality information exchange and provide support to Swiss and Chinese companies; coordinate and support commercial and economic delegations between Switzerland and China; facilitate the participation of Chinese and Swiss companies and institutions in activities organized by relevant international organizations in Geneva and other Swiss cities, and promote cooperation between the two countries within the framework of relevant international organizations; conduct research on the economy and trade, reflect the concerns of companies, help them safeguard their legitimate rights and interests, and improve the quality of cooperation between Chinese and Swiss companies; and provide free information on exhibitions and the market, legal advice and assistance, platforms and communication channels to Swiss and Chinese companies in order to facilitate their commercial and investment activities.
