In order to promote automotive professions among young people and improve conditions for older workers, social partners prioritize early retirement. Carage insures individuals working for member companies of the signatory associations or who have declared their adherence to the CCT against the economic consequences of ceasing gainful employment before the ordinary retirement age by guaranteeing them regulatory benefits. The foundation may also create special purpose funds within itself. The foundation board may open Carage to workers employed in a company from another economic sector. Carage's pension coverage may then also apply to individuals working for non-member companies of the signatory associations of the CCT.
