The foundation's purpose is to support charitable projects in Switzerland and abroad, particularly in Israel, in the following areas: the promotion and development of culture and education, humanitarian and social aid for needy or physically or mentally impaired individuals, the promotion and development of the study and teaching of Judaism, particularly through the financing of schools, university institutes or other study centers related to Judaism, the preservation and promotion of the historical and cultural heritage of Judaism. To fulfill its purposes, the foundation can accept and manage any donations, particularly in the form of gifts and bequests, by distributing these donations or their proceeds to individuals, works or organizations that are committed to projects in the aforementioned areas, while respecting the intentions, conditions and conditions that donors may have set. The foundation achieves its purposes through various means deemed appropriate by the foundation board, particularly through: the granting of funds to organizations active in the aforementioned areas and tax-exempt under Art. 56 lit. g DBG or engaged in charitable activities abroad, the granting of funds to projects related to the aforementioned areas, the granting of scholarships to needy students and prizes for outstanding academic achievements in the aforementioned areas. The foundation operates in Switzerland and abroad in accordance with its purpose. The foundation does not pursue any commercial purpose and does not aim to make a profit.
