The CESCCA pursues the following objectives: to encourage and stimulate the dissemination of Congolese and African culture; to establish institutions, centers of education and promotion of African culture in Switzerland; to promote intercultural rapprochement with Swiss and foreign communities; to support development projects in Africa and Switzerland through the search for partners through periodic information meetings and working groups and through the publication of a newsletter; to help gather the necessary financial resources for the realization of development projects in Africa; to mobilize and raise awareness of the essential skills for the realization of the projects of the objectives of these statutes; to promote and encourage the need for the establishment and activation of networks in order to facilitate the obtaining of apprenticeship places for young Africans; to disseminate useful information on technical and financial possibilities within the framework of development projects in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Africa; to provide moral comfort to people often confronted with isolation, communication difficulties and administrative problems; to facilitate the accompaniment of elderly people in specialized institutions; the association may pursue other objectives, namely: to promote education through the construction of schools and other educational institutions for disadvantaged and abandoned children; to develop and participate in humanitarian and environmental projects; to welcome in a spirit of mutual aid and solidarity people who are victims of mental disorders; to organize cultural activities that promote openness to others, etc.
