The purpose of the Foundation is to promote and advance blockchain and web3 technologies within the Chromia network. The aim is to foster the development, adoption, and understanding of the Chromia network. The Chromia Foundation is active in various areas, including, but not limited to: supporting research and development projects within the Chromia network; providing educational resources and opportunities for the public and interested stakeholders regarding the potential and application of Chromia and related technologies; sponsoring events, workshops, and conferences that bring together thought leaders, developers, and innovators in this field; and collaborating with a variety of partners, including educational institutions, technology companies, regulatory authorities, and other organizations that share our vision for a decentralized and open digital future. In addition, the Foundation may issue, manage, and utilize digital assets and apply for all relevant legal licenses required to support the charitable purposes of the Chromia Foundation, ensuring compliance with the principles of transparency and non-profit. The Chromia Foundation may also acquire, hold, and disseminate intellectual property rights to promote the development of Chromia. The Foundation may also delegate the performance of its tasks to other organizations, create such organizations and/or promote existing ones. The Foundation may act domestically and internationally within the scope of its purpose.
