The foundation aims to provide occupational pension benefits within the framework of the Federal Act on Occupational Retirement, Survivors' and Disability Pension Plans (BVG) and its implementing provisions for the employees of the founding company and companies economically and financially closely related to it, as well as for their dependents and beneficiaries, against the economic consequences of old age, death, and disability. The affiliation of a related company is based on a written affiliation agreement, which must be notified to the supervisory authority. The foundation may provide additional benefits beyond the statutory minimum benefits, including support benefits in cases of need, such as illness, accident, disability, or unemployment. The foundation board issues a regulation governing the benefits, organization, administration, and financing, as well as the control of the foundation. It defines the relationship with the employers, the insured persons, and the beneficiaries in the regulation. The regulation may be amended by the foundation board, provided that the acquired rights of the beneficiaries are preserved. The regulation and its amendments must be submitted to the supervisory authority. To achieve its purpose, the foundation may conclude insurance contracts or enter into existing contracts, provided that it is the policyholder and beneficiary.
