The company's purpose is the acquisition, financing, sale, holding and management of all movable and immovable assets, as well as all convergent activities, it being specified that by acquisition is meant the acquisition of permanent establishments within the meaning of Article 2, paragraph 2, letter a of the LFAIE and/or participations in legal entities whose real purpose is not the acquisition of real estate within the meaning of Article 4, paragraph 1, letter e of the LFAIE. It may carry out any financial or commercial operation related to its purpose or apt to favor it. The company may create branches in Switzerland and abroad, participate in other companies in Switzerland and abroad, acquire companies with an identical or similar purpose, or merge with such companies, carry out all operations and conclude all contracts suitable for developing and extending its purpose or relating directly or indirectly thereto. The company may grant its direct or indirect shareholders, as well as its direct or indirect subsidiaries, against payment or not, loans or other financing and provide, to cover the commitments of such other companies, securities of all kinds, including by way of pledge or fiduciary transfers of ownership of the company's assets or by way of guarantees of all kinds.
