The Club 900 aims to: establish and maintain friendly relationships among members; organize regular cruises on Costa Crociere ships; organize cultural, associative, and recreational events on board Costa Crociere ships; pursue an ideal and non-profit purpose aimed at charity, educational support, and assistance to children, both in Switzerland and abroad; support children growing up in orphanages in developing countries; make it possible to meet the primary needs of orphaned or needy children, in terms of drinking water supply, food, health facilities, personal hygiene, and clothing. To this end, contributions or payments can be made to institutions active in these areas (e.g., orphanages, institutes, schools, kindergartens, institutions for the development of community work, medical institutes), as well as to individuals (e.g., educators, teachers, foster families). Promote the vocational training of the needy, as well as the support of people and projects active in the common good in the charitable, humanitarian, health promotion, educational, scientific, or cultural fields. In these areas, the association can also provide direct support services to individuals, undertake actions of fact and law useful for the pursuit of the purpose. To this end, the association is authorized to collect voluntary contributions and to grant funds and/or goods (also through direct purchase and subsequent donation of teaching, training, and assistance material) in accordance with the principles of public utility.
