The cooperative is non-profit; its activity is of public utility according to the federal law of 21 March 2003 promoting housing at moderate rent or price (Housing Act, LOG). The cooperative aims, through the common action and co-responsibility of its members, to provide its members with housing and spaces at moderate rents and to remove them from speculation. The cooperative wishes to develop housing that meets demanding criteria in terms of solidarity economy, social quality and environmental respect, in accordance with the principles set out in its ethical charter, as well as in the Vaud Charter for the promotion of innovative and participatory cooperative housing.
