The association is established to promote the exchange of ideas between the Czech, Slovak, and other foreign scientific communities in Switzerland. The main purpose of the association is to organize networking events, education, and the exchange of information and experiences in academic and business environments, as well as to expand the social and professional networks of its members. It operates independently and altruistically, without the intention of making a profit. If profits are nevertheless made, they are to be used for investments that serve the aforementioned purpose. The members do not receive any benefits from the funds of the association. No person may be favored by expenses that are foreign to the purpose of the association or by disproportionately high remuneration. The association may, in particular, perform the following tasks: a) organizing conferences, lectures, and cultural events with the aim of stimulating and supporting student and scientific exchange among foreign communities in Switzerland, b) promoting scientific work not only of the Czech, Slovak, and other foreign communities in Switzerland, c) promoting international understanding between the Swiss and foreign communities through the cultivation and promotion of personal and professional relationships and the exchange of ideas between scientists, companies, authorities, and institutions, interest groups, and interested individuals.
