The association defends the ideals of the free world, as taken up in the Universal Declaration of the United Nations Charter. It will carry out charitable work and take an interest in the sick and needy. To this end, it will open as many social centers as necessary. It is dedicated to important social programs, especially oriented towards assistance. It will develop these programs progressively, thanks to the humanitarian aid at its disposal. The Swiss Commandery may undertake any activity that can favor the realization of its social purpose, among other things, but not exclusively through the collection of funds, donations and any other form of financial support. It can formulate acts referring to its social purpose. It can own all movable and immovable property necessary or useful. It will be able to carry out any accessory commercial activity necessary to promote its social purpose.
