The acquisition in any form, holding, administration and sale of participations in other companies and businesses in Switzerland and abroad. The company may open and maintain branches and subsidiaries in Switzerland and abroad, represent third parties, carry out activities and conclude agreements aimed at promoting the purpose of the company. The company may grant direct or indirect financing to companies controlled directly or indirectly, as well as to third parties, including its direct or indirect shareholders and companies controlled directly or indirectly by the latter, and provide guarantees or collateral of any kind for obligations of the aforementioned companies towards other group companies or third parties, even through the pledge of company assets or through guarantees of any kind, even if these guarantees or collateral are granted with or without remuneration. The company may acquire, hold, encumber and sell real estate in Switzerland and abroad in accordance with the restrictions imposed by the Federal Law on the Acquisition of Real Estate by Foreigners (LAFE).
