To represent Catholic activities and organizations before international organizations and conferences dealing with migrant and refugee issues; to bring together Catholic groups to better network, coordinate and organize services for migrants and refugees and to promote a better understanding between countries of emigration and immigration; to assist in the development of Catholic activity programs for migrants and refugees in countries where such activities are needed, and to provide interested organizations and groups with necessary technical or advisory assistance; to work towards recognition by governments and international organizations of the right of migrants and refugees to freedom of opinion and to adequate spiritual and religious ministry (cf. statutes for full purpose).
