Communauté Internationale des Obtenteurs de Plantes Horticoles à Reproduction Asexuée (CIOPORA)

To bring together internationally breeders of asexually reproduced horticultural varieties in order to facilitate the exchange of ideas and experiences gained in the field of protection of new plant varieties; to promote the protection of intellectual property rights of plant breeders, to develop and improve the relevant legislation, to defend and represent the interests of asexually reproduced plant breeders, to gather and provide association members with information on applicable legislation. The association promotes and assists regional and national sections (cf. statutes for full purpose).
