The company's purpose is to engage in any commercial activity, including purchasing, selling, importing, exporting, supplying, acting as an agent, broker, mediator, forwarder, distributor or otherwise trading in forestry and plantation crops and other raw materials for food products, semi-finished food products, ingredients and substances for food products, packaging for food products and, in general, all products that may be required by customers, including, by way of example and not exhaustively, group companies in relation to their food production operations. The company may also hold, manage and exploit intellectual property rights. It may provide services to other group companies and third parties, in particular in the field of sourcing raw materials, semi-finished food products and ingredients for food products. The company may establish branches and open subsidiaries in Switzerland and abroad. It may acquire other businesses in Switzerland and may be interested in other businesses through participations in other companies, subscriptions, alliances, joint ventures or otherwise. The company may carry out any financial operation that it deems necessary or useful for the achievement of its purpose, including, by way of example and not exhaustively, negotiating advances, credits, loans and other debt instruments, hedging, swaps and generally market transactions. The company may also provide financial support to companies that are part of the group to which it belongs, including, by way of example but not exhaustively, granting advances, loans, providing letters of comfort, guarantees, pledges and real guarantees in any form. It may also occasionally provide financial support to third parties, provided that and to the extent that this serves its interests. The company may acquire, hold, manage and sell any movable and immovable property and, in general, carry out any commercial and industrial operation and transaction that is directly or indirectly connected to its corporate purpose and that may contribute to the realization of its purpose.
