Ideally and financially support its members and scientific activities in the field of agriculture, conducted by students from Italian-speaking Switzerland (residing in the Sopraceneri region) who excel in agriculture, biology, and botany, in order to preserve the historical memory of tobacco cultivation in the Canton of Ticino through the promotion of cultural and social activities, the collection, processing, and publication of documentation and testimonies related to tobacco cultivation; furthermore, to promote the dissemination of information related to the entire agricultural environment and the rural world, and to organize, directly or in collaboration with other entities, events aimed at keeping agriculture and the agricultural territory alive/preserved in Ticino.
