to provide its members with affordable rental housing; to purchase, build, renovate or manage buildings and remove them from speculation; to promote the participation of its members in the management of buildings and the cooperative; to build or renovate its buildings in accordance with the principles of sustainable development, so that they meet criteria in terms of solidarity economy, social quality and environmental respect; to refrain from converting the building(s) in question into condominium ownership in the context of real estate transactions carried out with or without state support or on land sold or made available under a superficies right by a public authority; to promote and disseminate the cooperative ideal.
