The purchase, renovation or construction of rental or owner-occupied apartments or buildings at favorable prices, meeting federal, cantonal or communal standards for promoting and supporting construction and access to property ownership. Its activity serves a public purpose. It has neither a profit motive nor a speculative intention. It rents its apartments primarily to its members. The provisions relating to tenancy law apply to these contracts. The cooperative maintains its buildings in good condition and renovates them periodically.
