The Company's purpose is, in Switzerland and/or abroad, (i) any advisory activity related to the acquisition of companies or operational assets in the energy sector, including - but not limited to - the purchase, sale, holding, administration and management of all participations in companies related to the energy sector, excluding companies active in the real estate sector in Switzerland within the meaning of the Federal Act on the Acquisition of Real Estate by Foreigners (LFAIE); (ii) to file, acquire, hold and sell patents or any intellectual property rights and to acquire, hold and grant licenses; (iii) to grant (a) loans and/or any other form of financing or (b) guarantees and/or any other form of security to one or more associates, group companies and/or third parties for their direct or indirect benefit, if this promotes the interests of the Company; (iv) to establish branches and subsidiaries and participate in other companies; and (v) to carry out all commercial and financial activities directly related to its purpose.
