The purpose of the association is to directly and indirectly promote, develop and support (i) the open-source Chainflip software protocol and the surrounding community and ecosystem (or any successor or fork thereof, including alternative or additional protocols that the board considers complementary or supportive to the goals of the Chainflip protocol), and (ii) any other legal entity, project, protocol or community that the board believes has essentially similar or common goals (including a part or aspect thereof) to the Chainflip protocol and the Chainflip community. The association may take any necessary and suitable measures to achieve the aforementioned purpose (i.e. inter alia provide services and deliver products), generate income and profits for the pursuit of the purpose and the development of the ecosystem, plan and implement initiatives and participate - also only financially - in initiatives of other organizations or financially or otherwise support other organizations or persons, to the extent that all these activities serve the purpose of the association. The association may also accept donations from third parties and act as a trustee for the pursuit of its purpose. The association does not pursue commercial purposes and does not strive for profit. Support for organizations or initiatives that do not serve the purpose is prohibited. Indirect support in accordance with Article 3 (1) requires direct support for decentralized peer-2-peer Web3 technology that is directly or indirectly related to the Chainflip software protocol, another legal entity, another project, protocol or community within the meaning of Article 3 (1).
