The company aims to ensure the successful existence in the market and the powerful development of the companies of the Dätwyler Group. It pursues this purpose primarily by holding participations that directly or indirectly allow the control of the companies of the Dätwyler Group and thus their independent continuation. However, the company can sell these participations or have them sold, thereby potentially abandoning the independence of the companies of the Dätwyler Group if maintaining independence is no longer economically meaningful. In the sense of a secondary purpose, the company supports art, architecture, and folklore, education, training, and education, natural, social, and human sciences, healthcare, physical fitness, as well as nature, homeland, and environmental protection, primarily in the canton of Uri. The company pursues this purpose by allocating funds not required for the pursuit of the main purpose to individuals and institutions active in this sense, in particular to the Dätwyler Foundation (UID CHE-109.390.481).
