In accordance with the preamble, the David Lynch Foundation Switzerland primarily pursues educational and humanitarian goals. It aims to contribute to the improvement of public health and social well-being through the use and promotion of scientifically based consciousness technologies, particularly through Transcendental Meditation programs. These techniques are intended to enable individuals and organizations to overcome stress-related health problems and develop both physical and mental resilience. A central aspect of their work is to promote the development of consciousness to support inner peace and personal growth, as well as to increase creativity and intelligence. In line with the Swiss tradition of humanitarian aid and peace promotion, it is their intention to support local and international projects that create coherence, harmony, and peace in society, thereby contributing to the prevention of conflicts and violence and to economic growth. The foundation can carry out all promotional and operational activities that fall within the scope of the foundation's purpose or are related to it. It can cooperate with other organizations, institutions, and third parties, establish and support them. The foundation is politically and denominationally neutral and works exclusively in the public interest. It does not pursue commercial, self-help, or cult purposes. The foundation's profits and capital are dedicated solely to the aforementioned purpose. It fulfills its purpose in Switzerland and abroad. The foundation will base its governance and management on reference standards that recommend best practices, such as the Swiss Foundation Code.
