Dawat-e-Islami Switzerland considers itself part of the global Dawat-e-Islami movement. Dawat-e-Islami (Invitation to Islam) is a non-political, peaceful movement that invites people to Islam, based on the Quran and Sunnah. The motto of Dawat-e-Islami is: I must strive to improve myself and people all over the world. Under this motto, Dawat-e-Islami Switzerland will work to promote a healthy, educated, sincere, and harmonious society through Islamic faith. The purpose of the association is to promote religion (cult purposes), which is realized in particular as follows: Religious and spiritual educational offers, especially for young people, in the form of gatherings (Ijtimaat) in various cities of Switzerland, for both men and women; Promotion of Islamic-religious educational work, especially for young people and young adults, as well as for women, through the implementation of teaching units, seminars, conferences, and lectures; Creation of study plans and curricula for Islamic science and Islamic history in the German language; Creation and design of various Islamic courses for adults and children; Assistance for Islamic research and doctoral studies for students; Establishment of Dar ul Ifta (Department of Islamic Legal Opinions); Establishment of an Islamic library; Promotion of learning the Arabic language of the Quran and scripture through corresponding teaching units; Employment of imams, teachers, and other staff for the purpose of fulfilling the tasks of Dawat-e-Islami Switzerland; Lectures and gatherings, hikes, discussion evenings. Invitations of Islamic scholars and Rukn e Shuras (Members of the Central Council of Dawat e Islami) for seminars and courses for Muslims. To the extent that the financial resources and assets of the association permit, the association shall also establish and operate an Islamic center in other cities, which provides sufficient space for the religious, cultural, and social needs of Muslims; Promotion of general dialogue between Swiss society and the Muslim community to reduce misunderstandings and misconceptions about Islam; Organization of monthly preaching trips within and outside Switzerland; Purchase and free distribution of Islamic literature from Maktaba-tul-Madina Pakistan. Translation of this literature from Dawat-e-Islami into the German language. Assistance/pastoral care in hospitals, etc. for suffering humanity, especially for Muslims. Rehabilitation measures/assistance for Muslims in prisons. Offer of childcare and education according to Islamic norms. Help and performance at Muslim funerals according to Islamic rituals; Organization of Islamic festivals, celebrations, and parades on the birthday of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him); Help for refugees for the purpose of integration and promotion of the German language; free holistic healing and solutions to everyday and special problems with the spiritual methodology of Sufi treatment (Taweezat-e-Attaria). As well as treatments through Tibb e Nabawi and Hijama; Collection of obligatory zakat and donations for the Madani Channel television channel and victims of natural disasters, etc. Publication of a newsletter; to the extent that financial resources permit, acquisition of properties/rooms through purchase or rental for the mentioned purposes. The association pursues exclusively and directly non-profit purposes. The association is selfless, it does not primarily pursue economic purposes.
