The purpose of the foundation is to promote and develop new technological developments and applications, in particular in the areas of new open and decentralized software architectures. To this end, the foundation may issue tokens; advance research and development in the field of decentralized AI and federated learning; promote the introduction of data-protecting AI solutions in various industries; support a global community of developers, researchers and organizations that have set themselves the common goal of democratizing AI; support projects and initiatives that are in line with the purpose of the foundation; hold or grant trademark rights and other IP rights or license rights; participate in education and public relations to raise awareness of the benefits of decentralized AI and the FLock.io platform; conduct and promote all business and/or participate in all transactions, and in general take all actions and things that are necessary, appropriate, related or desirable to achieve or promote the goals described here. The foundation may also transfer the fulfillment of its tasks to other organizations, create and/or promote existing ones, in particular the foundation may also establish or participate in domestic and foreign legal entities. The foundation has a commercial purpose and does not aim to make a profit. Within the framework of its purpose, the foundation may operate domestically and abroad. The founder reserves the right to change the purpose of the foundation in accordance with Art. 86a of the Swiss Civil Code.
