The purposes of the Association are: (a) to establish standards for legal services and to provide advice and recommendations regarding their strategy to the Association's members; (b) to promote the international and national market leadership of the members in the provision of professional services; (c) to establish standards for the orientation, cooperation and cohesion between the members regarding the admission and exclusion of key groups of partners (as determined by the Board), financial compensation of partners and conflict of interest protocols; (d) to establish, approve and ensure compliance with the highest professional quality standards by the members; (e) to establish standards for compliance with the principles of conduct by the members in their dealings with their clients, staff and each other; (f) to initiate and monitor the development of new management information and other technical and operational systems to be uniformly applied by the members; (g) to initiate and monitor research in matters of common interest; (h) to initiate and monitor joint programs to market the professional services of the members; (i) to enhance the reputation of the Dentons organization and its individual members; (j) to promote the common beliefs, missions and visions of the members; (k) to perform the functions of the Association as set forth in these Articles or the Supplemental Regulations; and (l) to perform all other functions that may be necessary in connection with the foregoing purposes.
