The Developers Club association primarily sees itself as a platform where students from various Swiss educational institutions (ETH, universities of applied sciences, universities) and fields of study have the opportunity to apply their theoretically acquired knowledge in practice-oriented projects in the fields of game development, app development, microcontrollers, embedded systems coding, robotics, and mixed reality. The association aims to provide ideal and material support for projects in these fields. In doing so, new possibilities are to be explored and unexplored potential tapped in the sense of a scientific contribution in these fields. At any time, several thematically independent projects can be underway under the supervision of project managers, as long as the projects are accepted by the board. The association aims to make the developments accessible to the public. This is to be achieved in particular through exhibitions, performances, and participation in competitions. Furthermore, the development steps and findings are processed and documented in the context of scientific publications. The circle of those involved is wide and generally drawn and includes all fields of study. In this way, an interdisciplinary exchange of ideas and knowledge is promoted. The association does not operate for profit and does not pursue commercial purposes.
