The company's purpose is to develop, produce, and market innovative projects, products, and/or services with high technological value, particularly in the fields of computer science and biotechnology, in Switzerland and abroad. To achieve its purpose, the company will develop research, also in collaboration with universities and other institutions, in the fields of genomics, biotechnology, materials, information systems, and software solutions; study, develop, and market information systems and computer science, software solutions, and telecommunications, including consulting, analysis, and design of any software product or innovative products with genomic components; develop, assist, resell, and maintain an integrated genomic biotag within a software system for its tracking; assume representations and/or licenses for hardware or software products of other industrial companies and vice versa, grant concessions of representation and/or licenses for its own products; provide innovative services, also through a Service Center; create and supply services, applications, graphic projects, videos, multimedia applications for the Internet and mobile devices; provide assistance services for innovative services created or for their components; provide specialized training and consulting. The company may conclude all transactions and contracts suitable to promote the company's purpose or directly or indirectly related to it. The company may also acquire, sell, receive, and grant the use of technologies, technical know-how, industrial patents, trademarks, licenses, and intellectual property rights in general, particularly in the aforementioned fields. The company may assume financing and/or perform lending activities, guarantees, including mortgages, sureties, and fiduciary duties, also in favor of third parties, excluding, however, the exercise of banking and insurance activities. The company may also acquire, encumber, manage, administer, lease, and sell real estate in Switzerland and abroad, as well as participate in real estate companies and enterprises with headquarters and/or activities in Switzerland and abroad, in compliance with applicable laws. Any activity carried out in the real estate sector is not aimed at third parties but limited to real estate for its own account. The company may assume, for its own account and not in a fiduciary capacity, directly or indirectly, interests and participations in other industrial, commercial, financial, and service companies in Switzerland or abroad, in the sector related to the company's purpose or in other sectors, and open branches and subsidiaries in Switzerland and abroad. Finally, the company may carry out all commercial, industrial, and financial operations or of another kind deemed necessary or useful and functionally connected with the company's purpose or aimed at achieving it.
