The purpose of the association is to promote digitalization in Basel and the surrounding region. To achieve this, the association aims to support the networking of various sectors, including industry, services, academia, and administration. Furthermore, the association seeks to promote the development and collaboration of ecosystems, including the development and deployment of digital tools. To achieve its purpose, the association may establish and dissolve companies, acquire and sell shares, and provide or receive professional services. In pursuing its purpose, the association may collaborate with existing organizations in other cities and regions, both domestically and internationally. However, the association shall always limit itself to pursuing non-profit goals and shall not pursue commercial objectives.
