The company's purpose is to operate an agricultural estate and agricultural land, as well as to perform agricultural work for third parties. The company may establish branches in Switzerland and abroad. It may acquire interests in any companies, engage in any activities and perform any functions that have a direct or indirect connection with its purpose. It may grant loans or guarantees to associates or third parties if this serves its interests. It may acquire real estate and carry out all real estate transactions, except for those prohibited by the Federal Law on the Acquisition of Real Estate by Foreigners. If it acquires agricultural real estate, it is also subject to the restrictions of the Federal Law on Rural Land Rights.
