The company's purpose is to protect the physical and mental health of people with Down syndrome, advance their education and social welfare, promote social inclusion, and meet their needs, as well as those of their families and caregivers. The company may, as a secondary purpose, both in Switzerland and abroad: establish branches, in general, carry out any financial, commercial, or industrial activity, movable or immovable (excluding any operations prohibited by the LFAIE), directly or indirectly related to its purpose, grant loans to its shareholders and to third parties, act as a guarantor for loans subscribed by shareholders and third parties, guarantee these loans by the issuance or pledging of mortgage securities or by the subscription of any other financial commitment.
