The foundation aims to support charitable and scientific purposes; it benefits FAIRMED, Health for the Poorest, in Bern, the Association Pro Aventico, in Avenches, the Dental Clinics of the University of Bern, and the Bernese Monument Preservation Foundation, in Bern, as follows: a) 3/6 to FAIRMED, Health for the Poorest, in Bern. In the event of the dissolution of this organization, the foundation board is authorized to pay out to another organization with similar purposes. b) 1/6 to the Association Pro Aventico, in Avenches, with the purpose of promoting excavations in Avenches. c) 1/6 to the Dental Clinics of the University of Bern for research purposes, as a contribution to instruments or equipment for specific research purposes. d) 1/6 to the Bernese Monument Preservation Foundation for the purpose of providing contributions to private individuals for the renovation of sandstone facades in the old town of Bern, with the involvement of the cantonal monument conservator. The foundation board is responsible for distributing the annual net income, the foundation's capital may not be touched.
