The foundation exclusively pursues charitable and non-profit purposes. The foundation's objective is to promote and support talented, needy, and deserving artists and artist collectives in the fields of art, creation, and culture. A prerequisite for promotion and support is the financial need of the respective artist or all artists of the respective collective. To achieve these objectives, the foundation can, among other things, financially, ideologically, or otherwise support artistic projects and initiatives related to the fields of creation and culture in their various forms of expression, such as publications, exhibitions, or events. The support is provided domestically and abroad (predominantly in Europe) to talented, needy, and deserving artists, artist collectives, or institutions that pursue non-profit purposes, are exempt from tax liability, and are active in the promoted fields and/or support such persons themselves. The foundation is non-profit. As such, it does not pursue profitable or commercial objectives. The profit and capital are irrevocably and exclusively dedicated to the purpose according to this Article 2. The foundation is independent and neutral in every respect. It does not serve private interests, directly or indirectly, particularly not in ideological, political, religious, or economic respects.
