The foundation aims to establish, promote, support, and operate the Early Life Institute as well as similar institutions. It may engage in further activities in line with the foundation's purpose. Instead of operating the Early Life Institute itself, the foundation reserves the right to have the institute operated by an organization with its own legal personality. The foundation supports all areas of the institute, including research, innovation, communication, as well as training and further education, and other institutions and activities close to the institute or pursuing a similar purpose. The foundation engages in fundraising to raise third-party funds and allocates these funds, within the framework of its financial capabilities, to the Early Life Institute and/or other institutions and activities pursuing a similar purpose. The foundation supports the Early Life Institute in its endeavor to ensure favorable development for children and adolescents, creating an optimal basis for their lifelong well-being. In addition to healthy children and adolescents, this particularly includes children affected by prematurity, rare diseases, and other chronic illnesses. In the activities of the Early Life Institute, particular emphasis should be placed on sustainable and practically oriented measures. In addition to regional projects, national and cross-border projects should be specifically promoted and supported, as well as collaboration and cooperation with domestic and foreign universities and research and educational institutions.
