The foundation aims to apply research in an entrepreneurial manner in accordance with the Leibniz motto theoria cum praxi, with the claim of offering partial solutions for societal future solutions. This is particularly also achieved by the fact that the Pühringer Foundation Group, which is summarized in the foundation's holdings, is to be preserved, promoted and further developed on a solid basis, as an independent and autonomous group, in the sense of the previous company purpose and in continuation of the founder's corporate philosophy. The goal of all activities must be the pursuit of excellence and uniqueness. It is to be evaluated periodically to what extent the business development meets the requirements of the foundation's purpose.
