The foundation's main purpose is to support, encourage, and promote initial vocational training and guidance, professional development and career promotion, as well as career change or skill development throughout life, in the fields of commerce, industry, and crafts. To achieve this goal, the foundation can, in particular:
- Support projects or programs of training intended for young people, adults in career change, and unemployed individuals;
- Promote equal access to training for disadvantaged audiences, particularly people with disabilities or low qualifications;
- Develop and strengthen partnerships with vocational schools, businesses, associations, and public authorities to facilitate professional integration and reintegration;
- Support pilot or innovative projects in the field of vocational training and guidance;
- Set up specific support services for finding internships, jobs, or apprenticeships.
The foundation can grant, in particular:
- Financial, material, or logistical aid;
- Temporary support allowances for beneficiaries engaged in continuing or certifying training.
The foundation may:
- Intervene on behalf of employees, self-employed workers, and job seekers whose situation justifies support in a logic of professional skills development;
- Grant an amount to professional, interprofessional, and economic associations, in principle affiliated with the Fédération Patronale Vaudoise.
