The company's purpose is: a) the operation of agricultural land and all horticultural and agricultural enterprises; b) the production, purchase, sale, import, export, processing and marketing in general of all horticultural and agricultural products, whether manufactured or not; c) the performance of all horticultural and agricultural work for its own account or for that of third parties; d) all commercial and financial operations (except those resulting from the mandate of financial intermediary within the meaning of Article 2, paragraph 3 of the Federal Law on Combating Money Laundering (LBA)), whether movable or immovable (including the acquisition and sale of agricultural properties), except for operations prohibited by the LFAIE, in direct or indirect relation to the purposes described above and intended to promote its social interests; e) the acquisition of interests in all Swiss or foreign companies with identical or similar purposes, as well as the creation of branches; f) the granting of loans or advances to its members or third parties, the guarantee of loans subscribed by members or third parties, the guarantee of such loans by the issuance or pledge of mortgage securities or other securities, as well as the subscription of any other financial commitment. The company may carry out its activities both in Switzerland and abroad.
