The purpose of the company is to engage in the import, export, distribution, and sale of products and services in the field of batteries and similar products, particularly in the European market. The company serves as the main hub for the non-US business of the EnerSys Group. As such, it coordinates, manages, and oversees key functions of the group, risks, and intellectual property rights, which are centralized within the company. The company may establish branches, both domestically and abroad, participate in other companies domestically and abroad, assume representations, and enter into all transactions and conclude contracts that may be suitable to promote the purpose of the company or are directly or indirectly related thereto. It may also undertake financings for its own or third-party account, as well as provide guarantees and sureties for affiliated companies and third parties.
