The purpose of the foundation, in the sense of a promotional foundation, is to disseminate the ideas of nature conservation and support like-minded institutions in their endeavors. Furthermore, the foundation aims to preserve the so-called Domaine La Sauge in Cudrefin, VD, on a long-term basis, which has been transferred to the foundation's assets through a merger with the Fondation J.P. Schnorf, Cudrefin. The foundation seeks to increase and strengthen the sense and interest of the population in preserving the original nature, the natural landscape, flora, and fauna. The foundation can support or acquire reserves for animals and plants, particularly in areas that are increasingly threatened by modern civilization.
