a) The association's purpose is to operate a childcare facility (referred to as a Kita). Primarily, this institution consists of a nursery and an after-school care program for children aged three months to the end of sixth grade, whose parents are active members of the Church of Scientology Zurich. The care is based on the fundamental principles of the Scientology religion and the educational principles of L. Ron Hubbard, in accordance with the religious education rights of the parents. If places are available, children whose parents are not active members of the Church of Scientology are also admitted to the nursery or after-school care program. These places are open to children of all denominations, provided the parents agree to the Kita's operating concept. b) The association sees its task as raising the children entrusted to it to become happy, self-determined, and responsible members of society, and to promote the development of their interests and abilities. The Kita meets the requirements of the nursery supervision of the City of Zurich. c) The association promotes and supports private school instruction A. Rothen and private tutoring Key To, which is led by trained teachers and takes place in the Kita's premises. The reporting and approval obligations towards the Cantonal Education Authority (VSA) are fulfilled by the school management and parents in accordance with the VSA's requirements. The instruction is carried out in accordance with the Cantonal Education Act. The fulfillment of the curriculum of the Canton of Zurich is the responsibility of the teachers who conduct the instruction and includes the learning objectives from the first to the sixth primary school level or from the first to the third secondary school level. The association provides the premises, midday meal, and snacks (Znüni and Zvieri) for the school operations. d) The association understands itself as a non-profit organization, and its activity is not aimed at generating profits; it does not pursue economic purposes.
