The purpose of the company is the direct or indirect acquisition, long-term management and disposal of participations in domestic and foreign companies, investment funds, bonds and other legal entities in the energy sector, excluding in Switzerland with regard to companies or businesses that are subject to the licensing requirement under the Federal Act on the Acquisition of Real Estate by Persons Abroad (BewG). A further main purpose is to provide financial assistance, grant loans and commission third-party services, even if these loans or securities are granted unconditionally in the exclusive interest of their direct or indirect shareholders. The company may establish branches, participate in other domestic and foreign companies, acquire or merge with similar or related companies, acquire or dispose of real estate and enter into all transactions and conclude contracts that are suitable to promote the purpose of the company or are directly or indirectly related to it, excluding in Switzerland with regard to companies or businesses that are subject to the licensing requirement under the Federal Act on the Acquisition of Real Estate by Persons Abroad (BewG).
