The non-profit housing cooperative Le Rivage offers apartments for all age groups and people with different needs. We see ourselves as a vibrant and diverse community where people meet with respect, tolerance, and appreciation. Solidarity and neighborhood living are important to us. Our members, as owners, participate in fundamental decisions and thus carry the cooperative together. We see the diversity of residents as an enrichment. The housing cooperative acts socially, ecologically, and economically sustainably. We put people, not profit, at the center. Following the principle of cost rent, we strive for affordable rents and sell condominiums at reasonable prices. The housing cooperative Le Rivage is being built on the property Alte Thunstrasse 34. On the property, there is a large house that will be accessible to all residents on the ground floor. The property will be preserved as a whole, allowing everyone access to the spacious park. We place great value on the jointly and diversely usable garden area. To achieve this purpose, the cooperative aims to: realize the project Le Rivage based on the guiding principles and guidelines for the construction project of November 9, 2018; not subdivide or parcel out the properties No. 872 + 915, Hilterfingen; acquire building land and building rights; build and acquire single-family and multi-family homes that meet modern housing needs; maintain and periodically renovate existing buildings; build replacement new buildings when existing buildings can no longer be renovated in an economically justifiable manner; utilize funding instruments according to the federal housing promotion law or corresponding cantonal and communal laws; manage and rent apartments based on cost rent; create apartments for sale in condominium ownership or building rights; promote cooperative activities in the settlements; provide ideal and material support for efforts aimed at affordable and good housing; take measures to integrate the cooperative and its representatives into the surrounding neighborhood. The cooperative's activity is non-profit and not profit-oriented. The cooperative can participate in companies and organizations with similar or identical goals. It can be a member of the Swiss Housing Cooperatives Association, the Association of Non-Profit Housing Developers. The cooperative can conclude contracts with other organizations, private individuals for financing purposes to realize the development project.
