The company's purpose is to provide services as an asset manager within the meaning of Article 24, paragraph 2, letter A (point 1 or 2) of the Federal Act on Financial Institutions (FINIG) for collective investments, in the energy sector for professional and institutional clients in the Swiss and foreign markets; to carry out commission, trust, brokerage and financing transactions; to manage, administer and evaluate assets, participations, concessions and other rights, to directly or indirectly manage companies or industrial assets, to lead the business and advise companies in the energy sector. The company may acquire participations in commercial, financial and industrial companies and carry out all commercial and financial transactions that are considered useful for the company's purpose or related to it. The company may trade in all tangible and intangible goods related to the energy market. In particular, the company may trade in electric energy, gas, CO2 certificates on the greenhouse gas certificate market and all other types of certificates and derivatives for the energy market. The company may design, develop and directly or indirectly invest in projects related to power plants for the generation of electric energy from conventional or renewable sources in Switzerland and abroad. The company may establish branches and subsidiaries in Switzerland and abroad, participate in other companies in Switzerland and abroad, and carry out all transactions that are directly or indirectly related to its purpose. It may also provide financing for its own account or for the account of third parties, as well as guarantees and sureties for subsidiaries or third parties, acquire, manage and dispose of intellectual property rights and securities of all kinds.
