The foundation supports measures for the benefit of disabled and sick people and promotes corresponding medical research and therapy. In doing so, it can give priority to supporting children. Furthermore, it supports projects in the field of animal welfare and animal husbandry, as well as improving living conditions for animals. The foundation's services are only intended for purposes and beneficiaries in Switzerland. The recipients of the services must in any case be recognized as tax-exempt institutions by the Finance Department of the Canton of Zurich. The amount of the grants is to be set in such a way that the foundation's assets are used up within approximately 10 years from the date of the founder's death. The foundation operates throughout Switzerland within the framework of its purpose. The foundation does not pursue any commercial or self-help purposes and does not aim to make a profit.
