Ernst Ludwig Kirchner Stiftung Davos

On an exclusively non-profit basis, the promotion of the remembrance of Ernst Ludwig Kirchner and the preservation of his work in the public domain. To achieve this purpose, the foundation may, among other things, establish a collection of the artist's works and build and operate a Kirchner Museum, a documentation and research center, and a library on the life and work of Ernst Ludwig Kirchner and other artists in the Davos region. It may organize, host, and support permanent or temporary exhibitions of works by Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, other exponents of German Expressionism, or works by artists who are connected to Ernst Ludwig Kirchner and/or German Expressionism. It may also publish, commission, or support relevant publications. Furthermore, it may organize, host, and support exhibitions of works by a contemporary artist.
